Welcome Mohammadreza Kamali

Mohammadreza Kamali is a guest at the Sweden Water Research office in Lund from August to September 2018.

Mohammadreza Kamali holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering and is currently a student of the doctoral program in Environmental Engineering at University of Aveiro, Portugal. He is a member of the Center for Environment and Marine Studies, CESAM, and the Institute of Materials of Aveiro, CICECO. His research interests fall within the areas of synthesis and characterization of a wide range of nanostructured materials with different composition, dimensionality and properties to be used for treatment of water and industrial wastewater and also the application of biological methods or combinations of physicochemical and biological treatments for the treatment of industrial effluents.

Mohammadreza will spend 3 months of internship in Sweden Water Research center to address specific goals, including the application of nanomaterials for the treatment of industrial effluents and to evaluation of this technology according to the sustainability criteria and the results from his research will be applicable in local research projects.
