Emma Enström

PhD student

Emma is an industrial PhD student at Sweden Water Research and Sydvatten via Lund University. She does research on water policy for collaboration in catchment areas. Emma’s project aims to investigate policy instruments, cooperation between actors and good and less good examples. The results will be used to gain a deeper understanding of Swedish water management and its challenges and opportunities, as well as to investigate what future water management might look like.

Emma has a degree in Strategic Environmental Work from Lund University and wrote her master thesis for Sweden Water Research. The master thesis was about circular management of nutrients in the food and waste stream system in Skåne. Furthermore, Emma has worked as a laboratory engineer at VA SYD with analysis of waste water.
