General meeting within Testbed Ellinge
A happy group from Testbed Ellinge's basic organisation gathered for a meeting in Eslöv to discuss the progress of the testbed and to visit the pilot facility.
On Tuesday, March 19, 24 people from Testbed Ellinge’s basic organisation gathered for a meeting in Eslöv to discuss the progress of the testbed and to visit the pilot facility.
Testbed Ellinge was created when it received money in 2021 from Vinnova, the Swedish Innovation Agency, to build up the test bed. Five municipal wastewater utilities (the so-called testbed developers; VA SYD, Gryaab, Kungsbacka Municipality, Lidköping Environment and Technology and VIVAB) and the further nine organisations (University of Borås, Linnaeus University, Lund University, Swedish University of Agriculture, RISE, Orkla Foods, Värpinge Grön LivsCultur svb, Sweden Water Research and Svenskt Vatten) participate in the Vinnova project, which ends in December 2024.
Delays in the delivery of the pilot plant within the project have created some problems, but now the organisations were finally able to meet on site at the Ellinge Wastewater Treatment Plant in Eslöv last Tuesday to see that all the mechanical equipment is in place.
During the day, status and results from sub-projects and degree theses as well as new project applications linked to the testbed were presented.
