2.4 millions to Reduction of persistent substances in wastewater

Sweden Water Research has been granted almost 2.4 millions SEK from the Swedish Agency for Marine and Water Management for the third phase of the project Reduction of persistent substances in wastewater.

The overall objective of the project is the development of treatment methods designed to reduce drug residues and organic micropollutants in the effluents from existing municipal wastewater treatment plants.

The new funding allows Sweden Water Research to employ a new doctoral candidate who will be working in the project.
